What Inspires you to become an Event Master?: I want to make events fun and occur regularly to ensure we maintain a player base

Do you feel confident in delivering clear and concise briefings and debriefing?: Yes I have run briefing and debriefs dozens of times for all types of events.

Short Questions

In One Paragraph, please explain why you would like to become an Event Master on CloneWars:
To ensure events continue to run on the server and make them fun for all players. Without people dedicated to running events we will start to struggle with players again. I want to run small events and larger multi mission type events.

In One Paragraph, please explain how you will bring new, interesting and creative Event Ideas to the table?:
Initially I want to run standard events like raids looking for dissidents and rouge jedi, to get ideas I would speak to commanders and other players to see what they find important for their reg and start to include some of these elements in multi mission events that will require actual thought along with brute destruction.

Briefly describe how a "Typical Event" is run (Keep it short, you will provide a more detailed answer further in the application)?:
A "Typical" event requires a mod or event runner to plan a mission or goal. Organize players to be characters in the event and figure out a contingency if everyone just ignore the objectives and provide control through comms of where regs are deploying and the actions they are taking.


Scenario 1: Users are complaining about the quality of the Event you are running despite only being 2 minutes into the Event. You spent almost an hour crafting this event and you were very keen to run it.

Question 1: As a Event Master, how do you react?
I would continue with the event as is, because it is so early they might not see the point just yet. After I would see who was complaining the most and ask the reason that they didn't like it and adapt to make events better if their reasons are valid.

Scenario 2: During your Event you urgently need to go AFK. You will most likely not return in time to finish the event and it has only been running for 5 minutes.

Question 2: As an Event Master, how do you react?
I would always make sure that I have a back up (mod or admin) who knows what is going on to ensure that if I go afk the event can continue.

Event Crafting

You must craft your own Event from start to finish (Include Briefing and Debriefing). You are required to use full details such as map, actions (e.g. !model @ "model"), plot twists etc. Remember to include PassiveRP Elements!

First I would ask for people that would like to be event characters and choose 4 the first would be changed to a Navy and given the name Negotiator with only 20hp. One would be changed into an alien with 1000 hp, one would be made into a Imperial commando and the final person would be made a dissident model. I would then run a briefing telling troopers that an alien is looking to trade an item important to the empire but intel says that dissidents are looking for this artifact as well. IC would be put on VIP escort the rest of the troopers will establish a secure area around the landing platform on Naboo. When we transfer to the map I would put up the media screen and tp the event characters away to the landing platform.

A ship would be placed into the LB and the alien would wait there. The IC character would be hidden on the roof ready to assassinate the negotiator when the trade begins. The dissident will be placed in a field outside of the city they will lead the army that will attack the troops after the assassination.

Once the setup is complete regs will be told sectors to establish a secure LZ for extraction. IC will then escort the negotiator to the trade, once there the character IC will then strike killing the Negotiator and the dissident will launch an attack on the city will a massive army.

Troopers will need to fight and maintain the LZ from continual attacking troops. Before pulling out while pilots bomb the city.

Next stage would be a raid on the base of those dissidents.
