Delta Force Introduction.

Recommended Posts

The Unit’s strength lies in courage, teamwork, and responsibility.
In Colossal Gaming Delta Force; sometimes known as ‘the Unit’, is a special operations regiment which focuses on training and combat. We are the head of assault and defence in the US.  This means that the Delta Force can conduct; Special operations, High-value target raids, Direct action, Counter-terrorism, Special reconnaissance, Unconventional warfare, Hostage rescue/takedowns, and Counter narcotic operations.  Delta Force is primarily allied to Spetsnaz because of our unconventional methods.  Our loadout consists of;
boonie hats at 1LT+, HK416, Flamethrower, UMP45, AS50, M95 and Flash/Frag grenades.

Officers and promotions:
The current Officers of Delta Force are:
Asatru - General
Ninja – Major (retired)
Roasty – Major (retired in Canada)
Bee - Captain
Cav "deadeye" – Captain ([dis]honoureable discharge)
Viper - Captain (retired)
Jesus– Commander
Unknown Phantom - 1LT
Dark 'The Peeper" - 1LT

As the leaders of Delta Force, we make sure we are well organised so that our men do not go without appropriate training and rewards.
To ensure our organisation we keep a strict regiment document that details how our men are performing, when they joined and when they received promotions.  Promotions are one of the most exciting aspects for our soldiers.  It reflects their hard work which we in Officers hold with great value.  Thus promotions follow a minimum guideline; if a soldier has performed to our standards they will receive their new rank after a set minimum amount of days.  This goes as follows:
Private - Pass try-outs with a maximum of one strike.
Private First Class - 1 day.

Specialist - 2 days. Must join a task force.
Corporal - test + 3 days. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1v8G50skKGYAcFPKr6hB_dnQGZrBbBQqxJMBRs_6vYFo/edit?usp=drivesdk
Sargent - 1-5 days.  Once Officers are confident they can train.
Staff Sergeant - 3 days.
Master Sergeant - 4 days.
Sergeant First Class - 4 days + test.

Sergeant Major - 5 days.
Warrant Officer - 5 days + learn a class or and regiment try-outs.
Chief Warrant Officer - 6 days.
Second Lieutenant –7 days.
First Lieutenant - chosen by officers.
Commander - 20 Days minimum to join.

Task Forces:
The Unit has four task forces each member can join.  These four are:
VIP – Very important Persons - Escort high ranking or bountied US players.  Prioritise the Unit. Always be the first to take a mission from a 2nd LT+.

HVT – High-Value Targets - Actively patrol areas known for high-value targets.  Gather information on HVT's and potential Taliban that could be a HVT in the future. This means questioning civilians in US checkpoints and ordering them to leave if they aren't Taliban.

ERGO - Elite Response Global Operators - Save hostages and capture Taliban. Better dead than red when allies cannot be saved. Take FOB, especially when active.

SEASPRAY - Members of SEASPRAY are highly adaptive and skilled at operating various vehicles.  This includes:
Hummer & Hummer variants, M35 Canvas, Security Jeep, Blackhawk, Chinook,  and Venom.

The purpose of Delta Force taskforces is to ensure members know what they should be doing and practising when on active duty.  Members can choose a main taskforce to represent but can perform jobs from any four taskforces when not under the direction of our officers.

Medals of honour:
These are given by General Asatru to members who have shown they the best of the best in that respective field.
DEAD - DELTA's Elite Assault and Defence
THOR - The High Officers Role
FMJ - Full Metal Jacket

Important information:
Do you think you have what it takes to be in Delta Force? here is a bit of information you should know:
It is a requirement that members of the unit from Private all the way to general follow through with these expectancies:
Be proficient in both combat, training and development.
Report for active duty at least every second-day or notify LOA
.
Remain respectful to soldiers of the US army; especially security operations and staff.

Follow the rules, repeat offences including RP offences such as breaking PTS, PTL, and PTE will result in demotions and or kicks.
Lastly, members of the unit are expected to bond well with each other.  This means that we expect good activity in both Discord (our primary source of both memes and communication) and Team Speak to
communicate.
