Questions

In One Paragraph, please explain why you would like to become a Teamspeak Administrator?:

Iv recently decided that i would like to temporarily resign from my position as Senior Event Master, but i still wish to give back and help out within the community. Since teamspeak is one of the first things i open when i jump on and i am active within the application, i see this as a great opportunity to continue contributing.

In One Paragraph, please describe how you would make an impact on the Teamspeak as an Administrator?:

Iv seen that every once in a while, a new member of our community joins the teamspeak, and has no idea what is going on. I wish to be the person to see this, and drag them into the helpdesk and let them know how we use teamspeak, the rules of teamspeak, as well as what each chat room and category is used for. This will give the new player a sense of welcoming, and allow him to understand that there will always be help within the community for those that need it

Scenarios

Scenario 1: A User has been mic-spamming distorted/loud music in all of the public channels. They have since disconnected and you were only notified 20 minutes after the incident occurred.

Question 1: As a Teamspeak Administrator, how do you react?: I would start by joining the channel that the user was mic spamming in, and discuss with the members in the channel what happened. I would then ask what his name was and offline message him, informing him of the rules, as well as the consequences of his actions. I would then ask that the current users in the channel, notify me if this occurs again

Scenario 2: A User has been waiting in the HELPDESK channel for over an hour and a half. You join the help-desk channel to assist them and you discover they are quite agitated by your slow response.

Question 2: As a Teamspeak Administrator, how do you react?: I would start of by sincerely apologising for the wait, and let the user know that it is my fault. I would then proceed to help the user to the best of my ability with whatever issue he may have. Before he leaves the channel, i will once again, apologies for the inconvenience that we caused him, as well as the wait that he had to sit through

Scenario 3: There are a bunch of Users in a MilitaryRP designated Public-Channel. You notice none of them have any Server Groups. All the clients are connected from Australia.

Question 3: As a Teamspeak Administrator, how do you react?: I would join the channel, and start off my introducing myself, making sure that i am not interrupting whatever conversation they had. After a bit of small talk, I will ask them about there server groups, and whether or not they are new to the server. If they are new, i will introduce them to the rules, aswell as what channels are meant for what. I will then proceed to ask what regiment each member is, so that i can sort out their channel groups. Once this is finished, i will stay in the channel for a bit, and get to know the members, so that they feel welcomed into our community. Finally, i will ask them if they need any further assistance, before leaving.

Thank you for reading my application, and i wish it be accepted
