What is your current rank in-game (e.g.: User, Respected, Gold, ect)? : Legendary Are you familiar with the administration mod known as ‘ULX’?: A few simple commands such as !jail and !bring, However for those that i don't know i'm perfectly willing to put in the time to learn them. On a scale of 1 to 10 how well are you known throughout the community by both players and staff members?: Nowadays i'd probably say a 6-7, I went inactive for a little while but i've been playing on the server more and more as of lately. Are you currently in Colossal Gaming Steam group?: Yes Do you follow and enforce the server rules to the best of your ability?: Yes Do you accept that you cannot treat your friends any differently to ordinary players?: Yes, Everyone needs to be treated and punished equally. If two people break the same rule, and one of them is my friend, i'm not gonna give my friend a different punishment to the person i don't know. Do you have a microphone that you can use to assist you while dealing with players?: Yes Do you understand that Colossal server(s) are to be monitored sensibly and your duties are to be taken seriously at all times: Yes Have you had any bans to date? If so, please explain to us why we should still accept you: No, and if i have i certainly don't remember it. Teamspeak Agreement How often do you use the Teamspeak server?: I've begun using teamspeak a bit more, Still not as active on there as i probably should be, But i'm getting there. Please understand that you may not be given access to this Server Group instantly. By typing YES you agree to never abuse your Teamspeak powers and acknowledge that you understand the Teamspeak Rules (Link soon): Yes, I understand that these powers should never be abused, and yes. i do understand the Teamspeak rules, and promise to never break them. Questions Why should the staff team accept you as a Moderator on Colossal Gaming Military Roleplay?: Well, I've been playing on the server for a pretty decent chunk of time, I find that being able to help people out is something that i quite enjoy, and being honest i wanna give back to the server in a way that isn't just giving it money, but more helping it become a better place for the other members of the community. (However i do plan on donating soon) Discuss your ability to work as a team and give examples that demonstrate this: I feel like my ability to work as a team is pretty good, I can follow orders pretty well and even give them when needed. I feel like the best examples of this are probably during my times as a CMDR/CO. I find that i often try and get everyone to work together, just because it simple works better and you can achieve what you can't achieve alone. I remember during a time in Spetznas where we didn't have CMDR, just three LT's, we all had to work together to keep the regiment and running, and it worked for a while, Until i got myself demoted for being a minge. Just decided to have a little bit too much fun, But I've learned from that and have a majority of time stayed on the right side of the tracks. Have you ever had an administration position, whether that be in this community or another: No Discuss any past experiences that you believe have impacted the server and player(s) positively: I don't really have any major experiences that have impacted the server, and players in a positive way. Most of the times i find that i'm making little jokes or slightly helping people out whenever they need it, I remember one time me and a Drill Sargent had to train 10 or 11 trainees during an event. Took a little while but we got through it, with the help of some staff members of course. Other then that, there's been the times that I've trained people and helped people when they've asked questions. Describe your personality and speak a little about yourself: I find that i try to see the positive out of every situation, generally always willing to help out, unless i'm in a bad mood. I try to stay out of trouble, but sometimes accidents happen and you get in a sit because you shot the wrong guy. I always like seeing people happy and being able to help out in anyway i can makes me feel goo. A lot of my time is spent playing games of a pretty large variety, but for some reason i always manage to find my way back to Colossal. I also spend a lot of time listening to music, generally blink-182 or some other random band and as of the 25th of October i'll be 16. Scenarios Scenario 1: A Player is running around on the server and rdming constantly. Despite previous warnings from other staff, this player is still on his murder spree. All the other staff have logged off and you are the only one left. The player count is around 35. You've encountered this player before and have found him to be quite the minge. Question 1: As a Moderator, how do you react? First off, Jail the person RDMing so that he doesn't cause anymore destruction, Get evidence of what he's done, take a screenshot of maybe the logs or console so that then i can report it the other staff members later. I'd then bring him under the map to ask him a few questions, Why he did it, What's the point of it, etc. Then i'd tell him what his punishment is, Which is most definitely a ban for the amount of time required for the amount of people he's killed. Scenario 2: A well-known Player has Mass-RDMed a small squad of Players on his own team. This Player has been a very great member in the past, however recently you've observed that they are slipping up a lot. Question 2: As a Moderator, how do you react? The player may be well known, and may have been a good guy in the past. But he still broke the rules. I'd jail him, Get evidence through the console or logs, then teleport him to a quiet place, (Probably under the map) Ask him what's going on, Why he's done it, and probably bring up the fact that he's been slipping up a lot lately. I'd then explain to him that he shouldn't be doing things like that, That he knows better then to break the rules. After that I'd then let him know what his punishment is going to be, Which would probably a short ban for the people he's Mass-RDMed. Thanks for taking the time to read the application, I look forward to seeing everyone's feedback.
