(minimum 100 words): As a two time former member of the staff team, I am more than educated on staff duties for the server and am always willing to help out players, having an experienced member on the staff team is beneficial for all parties involved. Many players and staff members know me very well as well, I have had lots of positive impact on the server and have created content for the server in the past, and may continue to do so in the future to help improve the quality and live hood of the server for everyone that plays and will continue to play. Discuss your ability to work in a team and give examples that demonstrate this: I used to actually be a senior event master. So working in a team was one of the most important things that I have to do on pretty much a daily basis, setting up events and running them every single week was just part of my life at that point in time. I also have a good ability to prioritize certain tasks above others and in a situation in which many people would be needed, like setting up an event, I can give people roles in order of that person's experience and importance of the role. Discuss any past experiences that you believe have impacted the server and player(s) positively: The addition of new content always makes the player base excited to look at the new things added, new regiments or weapons are the prime of this example. New event maps also are a grand way to let the player base feel a mass of new explorational motivation and have freedom of running around in an event. Providing the player base with choice is something that always gives them freedom which in turn makes most of them happy, these types of things positively impact the player base both short term and long term. Describe your personality and speak a little about yourself: I'm a pretty loud and extroverted person, and sometimes like to talk to new people when in a good mood, I'm hoping to begin studying professional game development in the coming years and work on video games someday. I'm about to graduate 12th grade and be a big boy. Scenarios (It wont let me color the scenarios sorry!) Scenario 1: A player with an attack heli has intentionally fired in front of the enemy base gates to kill someone with a bounty, but also killing players inside the base. A ticket is made by one of these bystanders and the attacker denies all the accusations saying it was an accident saying that there was no proof Question 1: As a Moderator, how do you react (minimum 80 words)? After grabbing the players involved (Attacker and Victims) and dragging them into the admin sit room, I would ask their side of the story and their intentions, afterwards there would be just a verbal warning, letting them know to be more careful with their helicopters weapons, and send them on their ways. If the attacker has had previous and repeated offences, then a warn or ban may be used as punishment due to the history of the offender. Time of ban may vary. Scenario 2: A Chief/Officer has been caught spawning in props to prop climb a wall despite previous warnings from staff for doing similar things. You tell him to stop but a few hours later another staff member catches him doing it. Question 2: As a Moderator, how do you react (minimum 80 words)? Due to many previous offences, the officer may be demoted to a position without access to Q Menu, and the leader of the faction will be notified as soon as possible about the change of rank, also a warn will be instated for the record and future times that the said person will become officer, if a serious amount of previous warns have been made then further punishment may be applied, possible bans from q menu or officer ranks in general. Scenario 3: A Player is running around on the server and RDMing constantly. Despite previous warnings from other staff, this player is still on his murder spree. All the other staff has logged off and you are the only one left. You've encountered this player before and have found him to be quite the minge. Question 3: As a Moderator, how do you react (minimum 100 words)? JailTP him outside the play area and into an administrative room and away from other players, depending on how many players he has killed, it could either be RDM or MassRDM, so I just hit him with the basic 1-week ban for MassRDM (and teamkill if he killed any team members) and also make sure to write up a warning for his history. Obviously, punishments may vary between staff members but I usually follow the guidelines and stick with recommended ban times. The amount of time punished/banned coudl increase drastically depending on how many people he has already killed. Scenario 4: A well-known Player has Mass-RDMed a small squad of Players on his own team. This Player has been a very great member in the past, however recently you've observed that they are slipping up a lot. Question 4: As a Moderator, how do you react (minimum 100 words)? There are no exceptions to the rules, no matter how well known of a player you are, the same punishments apply to everyone, and therefore will be punished accordingly for Mass RDM, same as the previous question, the amount of kills may vary the base of the punishment. It would also be in my interest to ask them if they are getting bored of the server or if their outlook has changed on how some things are being done on the server, since there may be a psychological factor involved in the offence and it could be taken into account.
