  1. Hello fellow G A M E R citizens of the Colossal Gamer Nation. It has been brought to my attention that this thread will now be permanently C L O S E D due to highly contagious cringe diseases within this thread. Papa bless, Tristin Navid
  2. Would you have any examples in regards to your specified HTML knowledge?
  3. From what I am currently observing, there are a few things on both behalves.. Private channels are private for a reason, channel owners have the right for privacy and those who enter unless staff with a valid reason (i.e sit / emergency of sort) or white listed users may enter View's should be regularly taking care of his white listed users within classified documents and groups Lach shouldn't be looking at these documents even if trusted with them previously because of previous staff status I don't think that using ban power in regards to this situation on Teamspeak would really help the situation at all Lach should have notified someone of power within the group to kick him or left himself Dealing with the situation in a unprofessional manner "Salty faggot" isn't quite necessary I recommend switching documents and official, private information towards google docs for efficiency and total privacy. My questions are as follows: Was this private information publicly accessible? Was Lach granted this permission previously? How long ago had this incident occurred? Had Views joined the channel without whitelist? I am not being one-sided. I have noticed flaws on either side and believe that the main root-cause of this is because Lach decided to break protocol and look at the classified document when no admitted staff rank was present and that Views should have taken more time to sort out whitelisted users. Abusing official document and other whitelist powers is however, punishable.

Please understand that you may not be given access to this Server Group instantly. By typing YES you agree to never abuse your Teamspeak powers and acknowledge that you understand the Teamspeak Rules: YES, I agree to never abuse my powers if successful within this application Questions In One Paragraph, please explain why you would like to become a Teamspeak Administrator?: I have been apart of the Colossal Gaming Military Roleplay staff team for a long time now. It has been my pleasure to fulfill / have fulfilled my past and current roles as Ex-Eventmaster and Moderator. I would love to take this opportunity to dedicate even more time, yet again into another important role that will help the community of CG out more in dealing with the playerbase. My intentions in recieving this rank are one hundred percent positive as I plan to help out with providing valid roles, dealing with Teamspeak-related issues and generally providing a sense of professionalism within the support team. I would like to become a Teamspeak Administrator as I believe I can expand on my current capabilities as a Moderator to multitask and provide an extra boost of faster response time to both in-game and out of game situations. In One Paragraph, please describe how you would make an impact on the Teamspeak as an Administrator?: Being accepted as a member of the Teamspeak Administrators would most definitely able me to not only provide the community with a sense of support but also the staff team with a sense of backup and strength. I will be able to impact the flow of support in a way that will aid to a faster response time. Players will be encouraged to message, poke or speak to me if an issue is found of general help is needed regarding roles or user-related issues. I would impact the team in a way that would help cope with people who need help in investigative situations. If other staff are not available or they are simply busy dealing with something else, I will have the ability to help deal with others in need while staff are busy completing other necessary actions. Scenarios Scenario 1: A User has been mic-spamming distorted/loud music in all of the public channels. They have since disconnected and you were only notified 20 minutes after the incident occured. Question 1: As a Teamspeak Administrator, how do you react?: I will first attempt to ask for a name. I will then attempt to ask for evidence supporting the case. After the first two steps are complete and sufficient evidence is shown in regards to the incident, a ban of 1-2 hours will be given. When the user is back online and seen again, I'll make sure to talk to them and explain why they were banned and how their foolish decisions shouldn't be made again. If mic spam continues and the user shows strong supporting evidence of minging and no intentions to actually stick to the rules, a permanent ban will be given. If no supporting evidence is given by the victim then I will simply let the vicitim know to next time gather evidence utilizing recording software. I will still have a chat to the mic spammer next time he/she is online just to notify them of the ongoing complaints and the Teamspeak rules and how they should not be broken. Scenario 2: A User has been waiting in the HELPDESK channel for over an hour and a half. You join the help-desk channel to assist them and you discover they are quite agitated by your slow response. Question 2: As a Teamspeak Administrator, how do you react?: A firm apology for the wait will be notified at first. "Most apologies for the wait, we are all as staff trying to multitask and balance between Teamspeak and our current actions in-game and/or real life. If you have a suggestion regarding Teamspeak please head over to the Teamspeak section on the forums". I will then proceed to ask if the user needs any help in regards to support within the server / Teamspeak server in a professional matter. Scenario 3: There are a bunch of Users in a MilitaryRP designated Public-Channel. You notice none of them have any Server Groups. All the clients are connected from Australia. Question 3: As a Teamspeak Administrator, how do you react?: As a Teamspeak administrator I will enter their channel and ask if any assistance is needed in regards to regimental roles and ranks in-game. If met with a response and roles are needed, I will first validate in-game for legitimacy. If met with a response and roles or any assistance is not needed I will simply reply "No problem guys, if you need any assistance just poke or message a Teamspeak administrator or join the waiting channel".
  5. Suggestion Name: Revert the hitboxes please! Suggestion Type (Rank, Vehicle, Menus, Regiment): Server Config Reason (Why would you like this added/removed): I can see a reason as to why you might want to fix hit boxes how ever, from my experiences from the current updated settings as well as many other peoples are not all too good. If you could please follow the link provided bellow (captured by Lolly) we can observe the terrible hitbox issues we are currently having. I experience this occurrence many if not all the time when entering a PVP battle / event which is quite bad as I literally cannot get hit markers.... I would get face to face with a US soldier and sometimes get absolutely no hit markers while I see blood spurting out of the person... During the GIF provided below, I personally didn't get any hit markers either which provides a sense of stupidity. Screenshots (Optional): https://gyazo.com/b2fd38c0364ae2cc3a702d31985e6b2b I hope you take me addressed issue into consideration regards, Your friendly moderator, Tristin David.

Fun fact, I was the first Ultimate Donator. Are you familiar with the administration mod known as ‘ULX’?: Yes, very familiar. On a scale of 1 to 10 how well are you known throughout the community by both players and staff members?: Pretty well known really, probably 9-10. I am an ex Event Master & Role-play Overseer. I used to obtain the rank of "Major" in "Spetsnaz". Are you currently in Colossal Gaming Steam group?: Yes Do you follow and enforce the server rules to the best of your ability?: Yes Do you accept that you cannot treat your friends any differently to ordinary players?: Yes Do you have a microphone that you can use to assist you while dealing with players?: Yes Do you understand that Colossal server(s) are to be monitored sensibly and your duties are to be taken seriously at all times: Yes, I understand. Have you had any bans to date? If so, please explain to us why we should still accept you: No bans on record that I know of. Teamspeak Agreement How often do you use the Teamspeak server?: Every time I login to GMOD. If you become successful in your application, you will be given a Teamspeak Server Group that is appropriate to the position you were successful in. Please understand that you may not be given access to this Server Group instantly. By typing YES you agree to never abuse your Teamspeak powers and acknowledge that you understand the Teamspeak Rules (Link soon): Yes, I agree to never abuse my Teamspeak powers and acknowledge that I understand the Teamspeak Rules. Questions Why should the staff team accept you as a Moderator on Colossal Gaming Military Roleplay?: I believe that the staff team of Colossal Gaming should accept me because I am experienced in this particular area of server work and will get the job done. I believe that the reason the staff team should accept me is because I am neither biased or unfair to all users and I enforce the rules needed to keep things running smoothly. Discuss your ability to work as a team and give examples that demonstrate this: I will be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a team by communicating and cooperating while organizing what goes down in certain situations. I am able to work with others because I have past experience with the role "Event Master" that required me to have a hands on approach when it comes to organizing events with other staff members. Have you ever had an administration position, whether that be in this community or another: Yes, I have been a Event Master and Role-play Overseer in the past on Colossal Gaming. I have also gained the position of Administrator on Faded Servers in which I also developed for them. Discuss any past experiences that you believe have impacted the server and player(s) positively: I've had many experiences in the past whilst taking tickets when needed that improved other peoples days. Simply including people in special roles in events definitely keeps them happy. Describe your personality and speak a little about yourself: I'm a friendly dude that likes a bit of banter. I don't mind having a chat and will gladly part take in helping someone. I have no issue sorting out issues. Scenarios Scenario 1: A Player is running around on the server and rdming constantly. Despite previous warnings from other staff, this player is still on his murder spree. All the other staff have logged off and you are the only one left. The player count is around 35. You've encountered this player before and have found him to be quite the minge. Question 1: As a Moderator, how do you react? I will react instantaneously by jailing this person. I might ask a question or two as to why he has decided to proceed with the rule breaking. I will then notify this player of the current rules being broken and simply give him a ban. Scenario 2: A well-known Player has Mass-RDMed a small squad of Players on his own team. This Player has been a very great member in the past, however recently you've observed that they are slipping up a lot. Question 2: As a Moderator, how do you react? First of all, this player might be encountering real life issues so I will approach with caution. I want to get to know this player a bit more so I will simply teleport to this player instead of bring him to me as that might set him off even more. I will attempt to ask this player if we could speak somewhere more private and if agreed we will teleport under the map. I will ask this player why he killed the squadron of players on his own team. If they are simply being an asshole and not cooperating (being mingy etc) then they will receive a ban for his poor efforts to uphold the rules. If the player really does show emotional distress I might be a little bit lenient and let them off with a small temp ban for them to cool down or at the very, very least a warning so that if he is seen doing this act again, a much serious consequence will be used. Scenario 3: A good friend of yours has just joined the server, he is, and will continue to break multiple rules after you have warned him not to, despite this he doesn't stop and keeps on going because he/she being your good friend, thinks you won't do anything to stop them. Question 3: As a Moderator, how do you react? First of all, as an unbiased moderator I will not refrain from giving this person any sort of punishment. I will simply teleport them to a private location and lay punishments whether it be a ban or a rank reset back to trainee.
