Why should the staff team accept you as a Moderator on Colossal Gaming Military Roleplay?: Why should the staff team accept you as a Moderator on Colossal Gaming Military Roleplay?: I've been with this community for a long time and understand how the server operates and what's expected of being a staff member. I use to be staff on the server back when MRP just released and was a new server and would love to come back to the staff team and help out again. I'd love to help the staff team and create a better experience for newer players by cracking down on those who break rules. I believe I am a mature player when it comes to playing on the server and believe im not a biased player so i can be reliable in sits and not favour someone who's a friend or someone i know. Overall I just want to continue to make this community a more friendly place and see it grow.
Discuss your ability to work in a team and give examples that demonstrate this: I'm currently the Commander of Delta Force and have been LT of Heavy Snipers in the past, I've consistently held raids and also done trainings for my regiment which help build team and bonding exercises i've also been staff on other servers and have been in situations where we had to come down to a decision both of us agreed on.
Discuss any past experiences that you believe have impacted the server and player(s) positively: I've being running Delta Force doing trainings and training trainees making everyone feel involved and has increased the positivey in Delta Force and those who are involved in trainings and can get a learning experience from it. I've also helped impact players positively by giving them advice on how to increase their combat skills and things to do to help out during events etc. Overall i've positively impacted those who have been apart of my trainings.
Describe your personality and speak a little about yourself: I'm 18 years old and am currently pursuing a career in the cooking industry. I enjoy baseball and soccer and am a friendly, outgoing person. I enjoy abit of friendly banter and aim to be someone who people can seek out for help or if they ever need anything.
Scenario 1: A Player is running around on the server and rdming constantly. Despite previous warnings from other staff, this player is still on his murder spree. All the other staff has logged off and you are the only one left. The player count is around 35. You've encountered this player before and have found him to be quite the minge.
Question 1: As a Moderator, how do you react? I'd firstly start of by teleporting the player underneath the map or the sit room by !jailTP to avoid him shooting anyone else. I'd explain to him why he's here in a Sit and and explain why he's there. I'd let him know that since staff have already warned him he'll be getting a ban i'd firstly !warn with the reason and length then !ban for 3 days and then notify another staff member in discord or teamspeak to extend the ban to 1 week. I'd then proceed to TP some of the people he has killed and try and see if someone may have instigated him killing them or if he's here to directly minge and be a nuisance. If he's here to directly minge and continue to MASSRDM, i'd give him a ban of 3 days (MAX) and then notify a higher up through either teamspeak or discord to extend the ban for me.
Scenario 2: A well-known Player has Mass-RDMed a small squad of Players on his own team. This Player has been a very great member in the past, however recently you've observed that they are slipping up a lot.
Question 2: As a Moderator, how do you react? I'd handle this like any other sit i'd tp the player into a sit room and ask why he decided to kill his teammates and understand his side of the story and then i'd speak to his teammates he killed and see what may have caused the incident. If the situation gets resolved and i now understand the situation i'd speak to the player who was killing and explain what actions would need to take place, depending on the players response and attitude to the situation the ban time could potentially be shortened or lengthened if he shows that he doesn't care who if he is willing to accept his punishment and understands what he has done wrong. I'd then proceed to ban the player for 3 days and then ask a staff member to extend the duration. Even if this player is well-known and you may know them your self it's still unacceptable for any player especially someone who's well known throughout the community and should know the rules by now to not massrdm. In this situation i wouldn't let him off because i know him and be as un-biased as possible.
