  1. How will this balance if the Taliban get hold of one? What will happen if there are not tali RPGs available? Is it possible to destroy with excessive gunfire like a jug? Will the flamethrower work on it or will that cause code conflicts?
  2. Oh that kinda makes sense lol Quebec you may be right
  3. Just remember guys the admins and such volunteer their time to make the server run so maybe the witch hunt attitude that followed the report wasn't necessary? And upon further recollection Rex was not in god mode (he took damage) supporting the suggestion that it was an accident.
  4. Suggestion Name: Remove the death cam Reason (Why would you like this added/removed): It serves no purpose other then to facilitate NLR abuse. I don't believe it adds anything to the RP as it is unrealistic and again just enables NLR abuse
  5. This is actually quite misleading. Kevlar tires are simple designed to resist punctures better than ordinary tires. In military applications the tires are fitted with a steel ring inside the tire that the vehicle runs on if the tire is deflated. This ring has drawbacks as it destroys the tire as it is used and cannot support high speeds (>90Km/h) but it allows the vehicle to continue without loss of mobility or steering control. Any standard deployed weaponry will struggle to puncture 2 - 3 inches of steel designed to withstand landmines. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Run-flat_tire
  6. I actually do have evidence from an unrelated third party. Pubble logged your arrest on that date and he has no reason to log a false arrest and was not involved in the sit or any other admin procedures.
  7. As I previously mentioned while I am familiar with ULX I have not used it for anything so hopefully somebody would show me how if I where to make it to trial mod. As for scenarios the details of how the punishment system in Colossal is not readily available and would hopefully be covered by somebody.
  8. This is the activity graph linked to the last profile on his game time list. "Pezzy" While you have played a lot on the last 2 active days it does not mean your an active player so I will Bannanakings observation. (Edit better picture)

Deston): GhostHunter Are you staff on any other servers within this community?: Nope Have you been staff on any other communities (If so, please list your position, community and at least one reference and their SteamID)?: Nope How much game time on Colossal Gaming MilitaryRP do you have? (Provide proof): ~241 Hours What is your current rank in-game (e.g.: User, Respected, Gold, ect)? : Guest Are you familiar with the administration mod known as ‘ULX’?: Yes I am familiar but I have not used it extensively On a scale of 1 to 10, how well are you known throughout the community by both players and staff members?: ~6 Are you currently in Colossal Gaming Steam group?: Yes Do you follow and enforce the server rules to the best of your ability?: Yes Do you accept that you cannot treat your friends any differently to ordinary players?: Yes Do you have a microphone that you can use to assist you while dealing with players?: Yes Do you understand that Colossal server(s) are to be monitored sensibly and your duties are to be taken seriously at all times: Yes Have you had any bans to date? If so, please explain to us why we should still accept you: No Teamspeak Agreement How often do you use the Teamspeak server?: 2-3 days a week If you become successful in your application, you will be given a Teamspeak Server Group that is appropriate to the position you were successful in. Please understand that you may not be given access to this Server Group instantly. By typing YES you agree to never abuse your Teamspeak powers and acknowledge that you understand the Teamspeak Rules (Link soon): Yes Questions Why should the staff team accept you as a Moderator on Colossal Gaming Military Roleplay?: I enjoy listening and coming to conclusions to conflict between people. I also want to help improve the server because I enjoy being on there with you guys and people willing to donate their time to moderate the game is an important part of keeping the server alive. Discuss your ability to work in a team and give examples that demonstrate this: Most of Colossal is built on teamwork but more specifically I have been working with Commander Merlin and the others in security ops to create, improve and maintain the RC arrest database. This requires communication between the people working on the functions, people doing the formatting and the higher ups approving the changes. Discuss any past experiences that you believe have impacted the server and player(s) positively: As RC I try and deal with matters within RP as much as possible to reduce the strain on the staff team and I have been successful in the past at sorting out conflict between players without having them escalate to the point that staff have needed to step in. Describe your personality and speak a little about yourself: I think I'm a nice person, I've just finished school so I have a bit of extra time on my hands and I currently work as a unofficial crew trainer(Managers are to lazy to actually train me to do it so i did the training modules myself)/stuff doer at McDonalds. Scenarios Scenario 1: A Player is running around on the server and rdming constantly. Despite previous warnings from other staff, this player is still on his murder spree. All the other staff has logged off and you are the only one left. The player count is around 35. You've encountered this player before and have found him to be quite the minge. Question 1: As a Moderator, how do you react? Firstly I would isolate the player to halt further interruptions to the server. I would try and ask the player for reasoning and explain the situation and what they had done wrong. Due to the previous staff warning and the high kill count I would ban the player for 1 week. Scenario 2: A well-known Player has Mass-RDMed a small squad of Players on his own team. This Player has been a very great member in the past, however recently you've observed that they are slipping up a lot. Question 2: As a Moderator, how do you react? I would isolate the player and ask for his side of the story as it may have been an accident. If there is no evidence of an accident I would ban the player for 24 hours as a cooling of period after explaining my actions. If a senior staff member was available I would first consult them about the appropriate actions if I was uncertain.
  10. You had multiple AOS calls issued concerning you over the night. You where also a pain in the butt for RC. I'm not sure your version of events can be relied upon without further evidence or testimonies in light of this.
  11. Quebec summed it up much better than myself but I would also like to add that the server regularly reminds all players to read the rules and your trainer may have also suggested this.
  12. I think what Brad was trying to say is that the rules in motd act as a warning that those actions mentioned in the rules are punishable offences
  13. In my opinion with all these thing only the people that feel strongly towards one side of an argument actually voice their opinions so with that in mind I feel like the people that are judging their opinions off those previously stated should try and take this into account +/-0

If so, please explain to us why we should still accept you: I have no bans Do you Understand as an Event Master you are not allowed to abuse your rank outside of the Events you run? (Type YES if you agree): Yes Do you have any Event Experience (Have you played a Character in an Event or assisted in the Set-up)?: No What Inspires you to become an Event Master?: I feel like I could help with the lack of EMs available for the 8.15 event and also because events are fun and provide a bit of variation in the game play on CG and I want to contribute to the variety of ideas and scenarios. Do you feel confident in delivering clear and concise briefings and debriefing?: I don't really have an issue talking to you guys and I have spoken on stage before at DB for notices without any problems. Teamspeak Agreement How often do you use the Teamspeak server?: I use it whenever I need to talk to somebody. If you become successful in your application, you will be given a Teamspeak Server Group that is appropriate to the position you were successful in. Please understand that you may not be given access to this Server Group instantly. By typing YES you agree to never abuse your Teamspeak powers and you have understood and read the Teamspeak Rules (Link soon): Yes Short Questions In One Paragraph, please explain why you would like to become an Event Master on MilitaryRP: I want to help stop the issues of having no Event Masters on and also I want to add some new ideas because the current events sometimes either have no story or are identical to past events run many times in the past. In One Paragraph, please explain how you will bring new, interesting and creative Event Ideas to the table?: Firstly I would look at the possibility of recreating historical events as they can be very fun and also are basically pre-planned. A lot of the players also talk about the events and what they want so listening and taking notes would allow events to be tailored to the players, resulting in more engagement. I Also feel like taking normal everyday server events and turning them into events is a very underutilized possibility. Taliban seem to have a large amount of explosive weapons (rpg)? Let's go find their weapons cache! Briefly describe how a "Typical Event" is run (Keep it short, you will provide a more detailed answer further in the application)?: The event starts with a bunch of plotting staff planning and choosing maps and scenarios to run as the event. This is then taken at the appropriate time to DB where all the players are called and the story or scenario is given to them by the EM. The map is changed and the EM or a staff deploys a pre-prepared dupe to the map to create the playing field, followed by a recap of the mission brief. The event proceeds until a winner is decided then the map is changed and the process repeats until the end where levels are given and the map is changed back to home and a final DB is called. Scenarios Scenario 1: Users are complaining about the quality of the Event you are running despite only being 2 minutes into the Event. You spent almost an hour crafting this event and you were very keen to run it. Question 1: As a Event Master, how do you react? I would start by asking the complainers what their issues are and writing these down as a good resource to improve the quality of future events. If the issue is minor, such as no cover or a blocked pathway I would look at rectifying the issue or asking the other staff to assist in rectifying the issue. Major issues like a severe disadvantage to one side may be improved by issuing a Juggernaut to the relevant side while also taking notes on how to even the event in the future. Scenario 2: During your Event, you urgently need to go AFK. You will most likely not return in time to finish the event and it has only been running for 5 minutes. Question 2: As an Event Master, how do you react? I would ask the other EMs to cover me, provide them with all the necessary resources, and try to get back as soon as possible. In the event there are no EMs available I would ask the most senior admin or the member of staff with the most event experience. 15. I'm not in a influential position but as a normal player Bryan is easy to talk to in my experience and is happy to listen and help where he can.
