Why should the staff team accept you as a Moderator on Colossal Gaming Military Roleplay? (minimum 100 words):
I've been playing CG Military RP for a good few years now, I have experience being a staff member, having been staff previously on the server previously, and am a decently well known and active player. I always try my best to be positive no matter the situation and I feel that I get along with almost everyone, despite some differences in Ideals.
CG is essentially like a 2nd home for me to come back to after a hard day, it's given me so many good memories and I'd love to come back to the staff team and give something in return again.
Discuss your ability to work in a team and give examples that demonstrate this:
I have been in the CG staff team previously, and feel that my time in the staff team has shown that I am able to work well with fellow staff, and overcome any problems that may arise when a situation that requires multiple people happens. I remember there was one time when there weren't any EMs on to run an event, I quickly jumped into TS, grabbed another mod that was on at the time and we quickly stitched together an event for the server to enjoy.
Discuss any past experiences that you believe have impacted the server and player(s) positively:
I recently retired from the Position of General of RU, but I feel that my time as General is proof of a past experience that has impacted the server positively,
While I was in this position, I kept a positive attitude no matter what was thrown my way and feel that I was able to run RU well and give the players of the faction and the server an overall good experience. I'd attempt to engage in RP scenarios with other players, ranging from negotiations to kidnappings, as well as offer people plenty of chances to pass tryouts, and even offer them feedback or re-train them if they failed to pass.
Describe your personality and speak a little about yourself:
I don't really have much to say about myself, I try to be as positive as I possibly can, no matter the situation, I like Music and games, I'm in my last year of High School, and highly enjoy spending time with my friends both on and off CG.
Scenario 1: A player with an attack heli has intentionally fired in front of the enemy base gates to kill someone with a bounty, but also killing players inside the base. A ticket is made by one of these bystanders and the attacker denies all the accusations saying it was an accident saying that there was no proof
Question 1: As a Moderator, how do you react (minimum 80 words)?
I'd take the ticket as soon as I see it, I'd take both the offender and the defender into a sit in the Admin room. I'd ask for a recount from both sides, starting with the Bystanders account, Check logs to see who the Attacker killed. I'd then let the Attacker defend himself, I'd ask if the Bystander has any proof, or if there's anyone that can support him.
If he names a player that can support him, I'd bring the player that he names, ask him his account of the situation, and then return him. If I determine that what the supporting player is enough evidence against the Offender, then I'd give the Offender a verbal if he has no previous offenses, or a warn / ban depending if he has previous offenses.
If he says he's has a recording of the incident, I'd ask him to send it to me via Discord, or upload it to YouTube so that I may review it. If I determine that what the Bystander has recorded shows that the Heli has killed someone inside of the base, I'd give him a verbal if he has no previous offenses, telling him to watch his fire next time. If he has any previous offenses then I'd give him a warn or ban depending on his warns.
If he has no Proof, then I'd list the sit off as a "He says, she says" Scenario, telling the attacker to try to check his fire in zones that could result in SoloRaid Kills, such as US checkpoint to avoid anything like this happening again,
Scenario 2: A Chief/Officer has been caught spawning in props to prop climb a wall despite previous warnings from staff for doing similar things. You tell him to stop but a few hours later another staff member catches him doing it.
Question 2: As a Moderator, how do you react (minimum 80 words)?
I'd let the staff member handling the sit know via a PM that I've already told off the Chief / Officer for the same offense previously.
I wouldn't intervene with my fellow staff members sit directly as the other staff member is the one who has taken the sit, but I would PM him a recommendation on what to do, most likely being a Demotion and a Warn, or a Ban if what he's done is severe.
I would then let my fellow staff member deal with it as they wish and go on with my day.
Scenario 3: A Player is running around on the server and RDMing constantly. Despite previous warnings from other staff, this player is still on his murder spree. All the other staff has logged off and you are the only one left. You've encountered this player before and have found him to be quite the minge.
Question 3: As a Moderator, how do you react (minimum 100 words)?
I would JailTP the player to the admin room to remove him from the rest of the servers view and allow the servers player to go on with there night without interruption from the player RDMing. I'd check warns and see that the player has been warned previously for RDMing, and I'd let him know that what he's done is wrong and against the server rules, that he shouldn't be such a minge, and what his punishment is for what he's done, which will most likely be a lengthy ban for RDM / MassRDM.
Scenario 4: A well-known Player has Mass-RDMed a small squad of Players on his own team. This Player has been a very great member in the past, however recently you've observed that they are slipping up a lot.
Question 4: As a Moderator, how do you react (minimum 100 words)?
I would JailTP the player to the admin room to talk to him privately and calmly away from the servers view, I'd let him that I've noticed his change in behavior recently, and that it's unacceptable as a well known and great player on the server. I'd ask him why he's slipped up recently, maybe discuss why he's done what he's done with him, and then inform him of his ban for MassRDM, which will be the same as any other player ban length.
Just because he was a very great member in the past doesn't mean he is immune from the rules.
