What Inspires you to become an Event Master?
A broad but simple question, The reason I would like to attempt to join the EMs (Event Master) is just that I want to help do events. I'm a helpful person (IRL) and I care for people, when people get angry I calm them down. But the thing that inspires me to become Event Master is the people and the EMs. I know it's stressful being an EM but when people put pressure on you because you made a “Bad Event” and you should be “Demoted” makes your self-esteem go down, with the fact that you have to deliver the event on time is a stressful job. I just want to help the team and the players out.
Do you feel confident in delivering clear and concise briefings and debriefing?
100%. I feel confident when I deliver briefings and debriefings.
How often do you use the Teamspeak server?
If you become successful in your application, you will be given a Teamspeak Server Group that is appropriate to the position you were successful in. Please understand that you may not be given access to this Server Group instantly. By typing YES you agree to never abuse your Teamspeak powers and you have understood and read the Teamspeak Rules (Link soon):
In One Paragraph, please explain why you would like to become an Event Master on Military:
I would like to join event masters is because I like to watch people build stuff and myself I like to build stuff. When people look at an event, they don’t appreciate the time and dedication the event masters put into the planning and the prop placements, all the people do is play. When I look at the prop placements, I think of "Why is that there?". I know how it is as Event Master, it gets boring after months and you aren't motivated to play on the server. Even though I'm salty and angry at some points of the event, I tend to think more on the player's side and try to help them a lot. Everyone has to agree, Debrief is long and boring. I'm going to try and reduce the time in debrief and increase the play time.
In One Paragraph, please explain how you will bring new, interesting and creative Event Ideas to the table?:
Event masters are known for their creative thinking and flexibility. I'm a creative person and a flexible person, I can bring new ideas to the table, for instance; "Casino Heist. Tali has to grab cases of money to the get-away truck!". That's an idea that may come to the lights. Events have become repetitive in the same content, either that or rarely something new. As I stated, I have a creative mind and I'm a hard worker, I work until I finish and I start when I get it. To get back to the question, the creativity in my mind and the work ethics in my soul will bring out new ideas to the server.
Briefly describe how a "Typical Event" is run (Keep it short, you will provide a more detailed answer further in the application)?:
The "Typical Event" Has 2 parts, events are started by Event Master planning. The Event masters spend at least 20 mins planning for the event, then Debrief will follow up the planning. People will be briefed, then the map change will happen, Events may be played on the home map or the away map. away maps will require another debrief for the setup. They will be briefed again on where the points are, "Move out" will follow the briefing and then the map is played. After a team wins the first round, a 2nd map change will occur, this map change will be followed up with an Away debrief where another map setup will be set up. After the set up is done or before it's done, the players will be briefed on the location and points. A second round will be played and the two teams may tie on the event. If they tie they will be given an equal amount of Levels. There's a chance of the third round where only 1 team wins the event. But at the end, debrief will be held to acknowledge the soldiers who communicated and who did the best on the team (excluding kills) Before the promotions, the EMS or the staff members will brief on how the team did, following that will be promotions and demotions. After the Promo/Demotions will be the dismissing, After dismissing the event is over. Sleep time
Scenario 1: Users are complaining about the quality of the Event you are running despite only being 2 minutes into the Event. You spent almost an hour crafting this event and you were very keen to run it.
Question 1: As an Event Master, how do you react?
Take the salt into consideration, after getting yelled at you should learn not to do that or block that. Turn that salt into a positive suggestion. Make the event better and much more fun!
Scenario 2: During your Event, you urgently need to go AFK. You will most likely not return in time to finish the event and it has only been running for 5 minutes.
Question 2: As an Event Master, how do you react?
I'll contact the team on my emergency situation. After they are notified I will AFK until map change (which the EM team will handle) so there is no ruined experiences and ill do my thing, after the round/event the team will be taking over.
King of the Hill/Escort/RP
"We have got bad news from the spy, the Taliban army is going to pull off a massive heist on the casino, on what I hear, they are trying to build a larger army with the money they get from the heist! Stop them and kill them, We will secure the money and bring it to a different place, grab the money and put it in the truck. We will be evac'd out of the base, hop into the helicopters."
"We are ready for this heist that we have been planning for the last 2 weeks! We will pull this off, we will get all the money and we will make the army better! We have a pickup truck at the back to pick up the money! Evac out and hop into the helicopters!"
*both teams take off in helicopters*
Men, We just got confirmation that the Taliban are at this casino. But be careful, the casino is open to the public and there are rich Arabic people who are often in this casino. So, defend the bank vault and watch out for the Taliban.
We are at the Casino where millions are held. all we need to do is hit the vault and get the money out. Shit... We just heard that the US are at this casino. Act like gamblers until I call you guys to shoot.
Taliban are considered as Civilians UNTIL one Taliban/Civilian shoots their weapons. Once one Taliban initiates, the Taliban are KOS. Fear RP is applied to civilians with guns pointed to them.
We have followed the Taliban and we have found that they are trying to move the bullion and money over to Afghanistan for smelting and safe keep. We have come to the Airport to try and win the money back. Be careful, there are people in the terminal trying to fly out of here, so Don't kill any civilians.
Congratulations, we have compleated one part of this mission. But we must finish the second one to celebrate. We have bought you all plane tickets to Afghanistan so you can move the gold and money. We have put guns in your bags in case anything goes wrong. You need to check in your bags and move through security. There is a high US presence at this Airport. Careful.
Once a Taliban initiates on the US, Everyone is KOS.
Roleplay ends once initiation starts. Do not encourage initiation.
