  1. I attend 1-2 event daily :), I can attend around 7-8 per week.
  2. To respond to current feedback I have seen; My event crafting screenshots I used were made on a sandbox server where I did not have the content from Colossal working in sandbox to use as my props. The props used may be destructible, but in reality if it was an event that I was making for people to play, the props would not be destructible. I wouldn't want them destructible because it would cause performance issues which is something that in an event you should prioritize. Secondly, the details in my screenshots. I completely agree with the fact there is a lot of unnecessary detail props in the screenshots. These were purely to make the screenshots look pretty. I completely understand the point of not putting a bunch of small detailed props, it causes performance to drop. The screenshots weren't required so I made them to give an example of building. If it were put into an actual event, I would leave out a good portion of the detail props and I wouldn't use breakable props as cover. Second point, my activity has been spotty over the past month or so for a few reasons. First of all, I was gone for around 2 weeks last month so I wasn't able to get online. I have been playing for the past week or so and have been putting in around 2-3 hours per day. This low number is purely because I am American and the times I am online is 12:00AM to around 3-4am. I do my best not to AFK on the server, in fact for this week of activity, I do not recall AFKing. Last point, my steam name still had server tags from IFN in it because I was a staff member. I recently resigned (before posting this application) and have been waiting for them to process the resignation. I took it out of my name but usually per policy they want you keep it in your name until you're fully off the team. It has been taken out of my name and I no longer associate with them. This paragraph was to clarify some of the points that people have been bringing up to hopefully bring some light to some iffy spots in my application. Any feedback is still accepted in full. This response is not to degrade and negative feedback I received, more or so to clarify.
  3. +1, from looking at other feedback and reading you're application, I feel as though you'd be capable.

What is your current rank in-game (e.g.: User, Respected, Gold, ect)? : Ultimate Are you familiar with the administration mod known as ‘ULX’?: Yes, I have used ULX in a few different servers. On a scale of 1 to 10, how well are you known throughout the community by both players and staff members?: 4-5, I have been on the server for around 5 months and I am eager to meet more people on the server. I have been getting to know quite a lot of people in the US faction and have been trying to spread my name. I understand that not many people may know me as of now but it is something I am working towards improving. Are you currently in Colossal Gaming Steam group?: Yes. Do you have a microphone that you can use to assist you while dealing with players?: Yes. Do you understand that Colossal server(s) are to be monitored sensibly and your duties are to be taken seriously at all times: Yes. Have you had any bans to date? If so, please explain to us why we should still accept you: I have never received a ban on the servers. Do you Understand as an Event Master you are not allowed to abuse your rank outside of the Events you run? (Type YES if you agree): Yes. Do you have any Event Experience (Have you played a Character in an Event or assisted in the Set-up)?: On Colossal I do not have Event Experience other than playing a few Juggernaut roles and participating in events daily, though I will outline my experience in my prior community within their event team. Icefuse Gamemaster Team: I was a previous Gamemaster manager (Head Event Master) on Icefuse networks. I have created, hosted, and participated in many events in my time. I understand the ways Roleplay can be implemented, and I understand how to use resources I am given to create an enjoyable environment for all participating. I know how to handle situations in which players are responding negatively to an event being hosted, and I know how to take feedback into account and apply it to events in the future. I was known for my building over on Icefuse and I was able to build realistic builds that people enjoyed making RP missions with. I have around 5000 hours in Garry's Mod so that experience is what translates into my building capabilities. Overall, I know things run a little different on Colossal but I have the experience as far as hosting events is concerned. What Inspires you to become an Event Master?: In my previous community, the Gamemaster team was always one of my favorite teams. I feel as though after participating in daily events for the past few months, I want to take the initiative and step and help the Event Master team/ bring my ideas to the team. One of the biggest things that inspires me is the relationships that I would be able to build through the team. Hosting events for the community to enjoy would allow me to get my name out there and build relationships that were not possible before. I want to be able to use the ideas I have for events and portray that to the team to inspire others to incorporate some new ideas. I can understand and know the feeling of how frustrating it is when an event isn't fun and isn't balanced so I want to make it one of my goals to host balanced events and respond to feedback during them so that everyone can have a pleasurable time. I have a lot of problem solving experience and I want to be able to be someone that the community trusts. I want people to enjoy their time in my events to the point where they wish for more. I want to be able to collaborate with members of the community to hear their ideas cause at the end of the day, they are the ones who are playing in the events. Their ideas deserve to be heard and incorporated in our events. Overall, I just want to get to know members of the community and provide some new fresh ideas for those who play in these events. Do you feel confident in delivering clear and concise briefings and debriefing?: Yes, I have had plenty experience leading and speaking for groups. On my previous server, I was the highest ranked member and led numerous debriefs for both factions. Communication Servers Agreement How often do you use the Official CG Discord server?: I am on Discord every day and usually check some random chats every once and a while. If you become successful in your application, you will be given a Discord Server Group that is appropriate to the position you were successful in. Please understand that you may not be given access to this Server Group instantly. By typing YES you agree to never abuse your Discord powers and acknowledge that you understand the Discord Rules (#get-verified Channel): Yes. Short Questions In One Paragraph, please explain why you would like to become an Event Master on MilitaryRP: There are many reasons I am interested in becoming an Event master. To start off, I want to get my name out there within the community and become someone everyone can trust. I know how vital this team is for the servers success in the fact that they are bringing unique experiences to take away from the normal day to day server. I want to be able to build relationships that were not yet possible. I am all about getting to know people and developing relationships because if you earn someones trust, they're going to feel comfortable proposing their ideas to you. I feel as though community involvement is something that this team should rely on more often. I know there are many people in this community who have some fantastic ideas that have not yet been heard and I want to give them the opportunity to see their ideas turned to a reality. I would like to create events that I have not yet seen done and give the server/ community something new to participate in. I know the feeling of playing the same events over and over and them sometimes getting old so I would take the opportunity and sit down with various community members and ask for some ideas and see what we can make of it. I know my capabilities of being a leader and I want to be able to give back to the community by not only being as role model, but a helping hand/ friend to everyone. In One Paragraph, please explain how you will bring new, interesting and creative Event Ideas to the table?: I will sit down and talk with members of the community to get feedback on how they feel as though our current events could improve. After gathering some feedback and ideas, I would apply that to future events I build. I have built many events in my time and I feel as though some of them have yet to be done in the community so I feel like bringing some of my previous experience into the team will allow for fresh new ideas to be pushed into events. I like to take inspiration from many outside sources such as tv shows, movies scenes, ect. Doing this will allow a relatable environment for people participating and may allow people to have a deeper more enjoyable experience when participating in the event. Overall, I will make it my goal to take in as much feedback as I can and build off of that feedback to give the community things that they want to see. Briefly describe how a "Typical Event" is run (Keep it short, you will provide a more detailed answer further in the application)?: A typical event is built using various props that the team is given and a majority of the time is duplicated for future use. The events that we have on the server are set at scheduled times so Event Masters will collaborate to see what map/ event should be held. When the scheduled time comes around, factions will be debriefed on the upcoming event. The map will switch to the designated map picked and the event masters will place a dupe and get everything prepared. Once all of the setup is complete, they can announce for both parties to move out and the event starts. After the event, the winning team is usually awarded levels. Scenarios Scenario 1: Users are complaining about the quality of the Event you are running despite only being 2 minutes into the Event. You spent almost an hour crafting this event and you were very keen to run it. Question 1: As a Event Master, how do you react?: I would first take a look at the feedback they are providing and see if there are any immediate small changes I can make to improve the experience. I do not want to make any drastic changes during an event being played as that could cause more backlash. If the feedback seems as though is just people complaining about dying and things that aren't relevant to the event itself, I would continue running the event. If anything, I would ask in chat what people would like to see changed and I would do my best to change it to ensure people are having the most enjoyable experience possible. Scenario 2: During your Event, you urgently need to go AFK. You will most likely not return in time to finish the event and it has only been running for 5 minutes. Question 2: As an Event Master, how do you react?: I would first start by asking for other Event Masters to step in and provide me help and ask if they could take over the event. I would not cancel the event as it is hosted at a scheduled time. If I can't get in contact with any Event Masters (which is rare), I would find a staff member and ask for their help. If anything the event set up time can be increased whilst trying to find help. Event Crafting You must craft your own Event from start to finish (Include Briefing and Debriefing). You are required to use full details such as map, actions (e.g. !model @ "model"), plot twists etc. Remember to include PassiveRP Elements! I put all of my event crafting into a google document. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xD9MjAsv-ePZRTNPHAE6yHMyE7jnKXkyoTCq4Xi5Ve8/edit?usp=sharing
